Free access to important NIR spectroscopy resource

The Proceedings of the International Council for Near Infrared Spectroscopy (ICNIRS) conferences are a valuable record of NIR research and development dating back to 1987. There are many gems hidden within them that are easily overlooked by researchers, and the Proceedings are of particular use to newcomers to NIR spectroscopy. Now, IMP Open has made individual chapters from the five Proceedings they have published freely available: 1995, 1999, 2001, 2003 and 2017. In addition, with the kind permission of the organisers, 2011 is also available and 2009 will be soon: more than 1,000 chapters in total. They can be reached from https://www.impopen.com/nir-proceedings and there is a simple search facility of titles and authors.

A limited numbers of print copies of these and other Proceedings are available from https://store.impopen.com/near-infrared-spectroscopy/proceedings/ for those who wish to complete their libraries or just prefer print!

These Proceedings are an important resource for the NIR community and they should be preserved. IMP Open will endeavour to expand the number of ICNIRS Proceedings freely available.
